Upon entering the main residence, you will be awed by the dramatic exposed wooden beamed ceilings, sweeping ocean views, and significant wood-encased pocketing floor-to-ceiling slider doors. The living area columns are 18-feet tall and are made of Ipe walnut wood handpicked and custom milled in Manaus, Brazil. The main home is further accented by stunning woodwork, including custom Brazilian mahogany carved doors in every room with intricate detailing. The flooring is Brazilian honey teakwood bringing together all the custom wood elements in harmony throughout Bali Hai.

Entertaining is a must here and the dream is this chef-inspired kitchen, complete with a massive sit-up counter in size and beauty.  Dine in at the adjacent dining area overlooking the ocean or outside on one of the waterfront porches. Just off the kitchen, you will find a walk-in pantry with intricately wood-carved shelving, a separate butler's pantry, and a laundry room. The main home also features a temperature-controlled walk-in 1,000+ bottle wine cellar, complete with a computerized bar code scanning system, so you never run out of your favorites! In the main living area, a beautiful coral wall fireplace accents the open, high ceilings and a custom-designed wet bar with vintage glass mural, liquor storage cabinet and grand elevator entrance. The main living room opens to the veranda which serves as an outdoor living area overlooking the ocean, beach, infinity-edge pool, and separate hot tub with a fire pit and round seating. The veranda is the ideal location for unwinding and spotting the abundant sea life residing in the Atlantic waters off Bali Hai.

The main living area connects to the office/den where you find another great inspirational space with a full bath and access to the balcony area. The inviting main suite is located just past the study with a private balcony and spacious and lovely bathroom with shower, soaking tub, and dual vanities. The main closet is a focal point all on its own, impressive, to say the least, in its spacious design, woodwork cabinetry, and sheer size. The main home has a large guest oceanfront bedroom with an en suite bath, walk-in closet, striking ocean views, and direct porch access.

Outdoor porches connect you to the guest pods just mere steps away. The guest pods have multiple entrances for privacy and are easily sectioned off.  In the first pod, you will find two more distinctly designed bedrooms, a full bath, a washer/dryer, and another beautiful private balcony overlooking the gardens. The second guest pod is a private one-bedroom, plus a full bath, which connects to the screening media room/bedroom. The media room also accesses the porch that overlooks the gardens and stone pathways taking you through the grounds.

As you descend either side of the custom wood staircase on the ocean, you will be enchanted by the mesmerizing vast ocean view and the stunning infinity-edge pool which runs across the back of the home. Enjoy the custom-designed hot tub with lighted accents and a fire pit in the center.

The lower level offers a sweeping breezeway, with outdoor kitchen and multiple entertainment areas surrounded by the green riverbed columns. Workouts are a breeze with a professional gym overlooking the ocean or yoga on the beach. Be mesmerized by your own 7,000-gallon saltwater pond with tropical fish. Finish off the day with an evening game of tennis at your private lighted championship tennis court! Give your guests a tour of the “Fairchild Gardens” like pathways: a collection of over 300 different species of palm trees (including very rare varieties and over 70 red sealing wax palms, some as tall as 20’) as well as a range of other tropical flora are all labeled and identified by QR code.

The home and lavish grounds are connected to a state-state-of-art home automation and lighting system. This system allows you to monitor security cameras while you are away or turn on lights and music throughout the property with the touch of a button. Thanks to 1 GB internet speeds, you will be connected to the outside world but feel as if you are a million miles away.

Oceanfront boating is appreciated at this home with deep-water dockage, two boat lifts with the larger being a 27000-pound boat lift, and an additional flat lift ideal for water toys.  If you prefer to take it slow, take out the paddleboards to enjoy a day on the water.  Or use your private staircase at the end of the 300’ dock to jump into the warm waters for a snorkel where you are surrounded by nature’s aquarium in the fabulous Florida Keys.
